The word on the street is everyone thinks that PlayStation is cutting prices early because it has fewer “outstanding” games. They are also saying that at E3 Sony will blow us away. 

Microsoft Corp., trails Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co. in game sales in Japn, on July 6th, 2007, they said that they will offer the new Xbox 360 at a lower price in Japan to help gain more of a market share. As of th 9th, yesterday, the Sony PlayStation 3 is lowering its price by $100 making a retail price of $499. Taking its place at the $599 dollar price point is new to the U.S. 80GB model. The new model will be available in stores in August. The MotorStorm PS1 game will come with the 80GB model.

Did someone way Xbox 360 price cut? According to the “experts” Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter is advising that he predicts an Elite model 360 cut from $479 to $399, with the Pro and Core packs both losing $50 each to $349 and $249. WOW!
