Microsoft Sponsored this?

I like how this opens because it sounds like this guy is calling Microsoft lazy.

“I’m here at the Microsoft booth. The idea is we are lazy and don’t like to make drinks, but people like to drink.”

My thought is how long did it take this guy to set up the system. How many drinks could I have had in the time it takes him to set up the Drunk Tender? We should have a race. He can start building and I’ll start pouring and we will see who’s more drunk at the end.

With a couple clicks you can pour a mixed drink and be a “lazy” bartender. If it were not for the RFID chip used to log in with one click no one would use this because in the time it takes to log in you could pour a drink.

If you go to betterthaneveryone.com you can get the source code for free.

  1. Make that, *eventually* you can get the source code for free. But you can get a run down of material costs now. Total cost (not counting drinks, but including the dancefloor, because that’s required don’t you know) is 3,923.67

Cool idea, but ye gods. I’ll just spend the 4k on booze.
