Today on PopSnap, I wrap up my trip to Las Vegas and released a few videos I shot yesterday and the day before at Ces in Las Vegas. If you have not seen the show already go to PopSnap and check it out. PopSnap has a cool feature where you can vote for the PopSnap shows you like. The first story shows a cool accessory for the iPhone camera and the second talks about video game addiction and how to fight it.
This video is of Morgan Webb, a serious gamer girl, being interviewed about video game addiction in children on MSNBC.
They say that video games are just as addicting as gambling or the drink. Morgan says that you shouldn’t give your children unlimited time on video games and that most people should only spend 1-2 hours a day to consuming media. I think children can be controlled, but sometimes it’s hard when you are working all the time.
This video, taken yesterday at CES, we see Bob. It’s a control for your TV that let’s you program the time your child is allowed to use the TV. Once you shut it off Bob makes sure your children won’t be able to turn it back on with out the key.
I don’t find the Bob control necessary. I wouldn’t but it. If you can do a good time watching your kids that’s a plus, but if you are out and about while your children are at home Bob may be of some use.
While mobile around town you might want to zoom in on something to snap a photograph with your iPhone. These accessories attach to your phone so you can zoom in for a snap shot.
Personally I wouldn’t use these cell phone binoculars because I can’t stand carrying around extra parts, however, for a special event I may consider buying it. I would like to see the market adaption of the iPhone binoculars. In the video you see Jason Chen and Mark Wilson from Gizmodo.
That’s it for the PopSnap blog post follow up. For the PopSnap show expect full action on Monday.
